Joy Bots (make you feel instantly better)
Love Bots (tell you how much they love you all day long)
Mean Bots (give you permission to be mean, petty, and a little rude)
Brave Bots (encourage you to take more risks)
Listening Bots (don't say much, just listen)
Blame Bots (take the blame so you don't have to)
Advice Bots (give you ridiculously useful advice)
Cloning Bots (Make more of you so you can get more done)
Time Bots (stop time so you can have an instant re-do)
Yes Bots (agree with everything you say)
You can also order Bots from the amazing Uncommon Goods Catalog
Each robot is a hand painted (on the back of a domino),one-of-kind piece of art created Gary Hirsch. who is an artist and consultant * living in Portland, OR. You can order your personal robot by clicking on the order button below. Each robot comes with operating-instructions. They are all one-of-a-kind (painted on white, black, or ivory dominoes) so each robot is different. When you order one it's a bit of a crap shoot: you don't know exactly which one you'll get till it arrives in the mail. They're cheap (at least we think so) $12.00 each (plus $3.00 for shipping and handling).
1. Allow your robot to get to know you by placing him on your desk, kitchen counter or cubicle or wherever you spend the most amount of time.
2. Wait until he notices something about you (it won't take long) and then listen while he tells** you how wonderful you are, or how much he loves you, or how brave you have been, etc. (what he says depends on the type of robot you have selected).
3. Take him with you everywhere you go for the maximum domino effect.
*The original domino robots were imagined and commissioned by On Your Feet, a consultancy that collides improv and business, and that Gary helped to start in Nov. of 1994
* The robots don't really talk ('cause they're painted dominoes) but you can imagine that they do.
